Launch of PUBG: Battlegrounds Gameplay trailer for Deston for PC is available.
PUBG: Battlegrounds has released Deston, the first map released since the battle royale game went free-to-play earlier this year, for PC. The game’s official Twitter account confirmed the news “Deston and Update 18.2 are now live on PC servers.” Can you get a Chicken Dinner on the first day of the new map? Also, make sure to check out the latest Deston information at https://pubg.info/DESTON_tw_liveserver.” Console users, on the other hand, will have to wait a little longer, as Deston will be released on July 21, nearly a week later, for Xbox Series S/X, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
The official PUBG: Battlegrounds YouTube channel also shared a trailer for Deston to give users an idea of what to expect from the map. The action-packed two-minute 42-second Deston gameplay trailer features some impressive visuals and transports us to a dangerous place where “no squad has gone before.” Given the game’s genre, some of the sequences are, predictably, not for the faint of heart.

Ascenders, vertical mechanized zip lines that help players scale heights, are introduced to the PUBG: Battlegrounds universe by Deston. To put it simply, these are elevators with no walls, ceiling, or floor. Deston also includes new vehicles, such as the Pillar Car, as well as a slew of new weapons, such as the MP9 SMG and the 012 shotgun.
Deston, the new map for PUBG: Battlegrounds, is set in a location that features a unique mix of rich vegetation in some areas and massive cities in others due to being hit by a massive hurricane. Deston is also home to Ripton, a downtown area that, despite being submerged in water, has one of the game’s largest sprawls. In addition, the map contains the tallest skyscraper in PUBG history.
